Volunteers needed for a research study on rhythm and gait

Why are we doing this study?

The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between the ability to recognize a regular beat and walk symmetrically in people with stroke.

What does the study involve?

A clinical assessment (2 hours), balance and walking assessment (1.5 hours), and an optional brain imaging test (2 hours) will be involved. Reimbursement of up to $40 will be provided.

Where will the study take place?

Toronto Rehab and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Who can participate?

We are recruiting individuals who have had their first stroke and healthy older adults. You cannot participate if you have hearing loss or a medical condition other than stroke that affects your walking.
